St. Mark Lutheran Church
1934 52nd Street SE Kentwood, MI 49508 St. Mark is a family of Christian believers. We offer many opportunities for adults (and children) to learn and grow in their knowledge of God's love. Firm Foundation There is no obligation for attending this class and it is open to members and non-members alike. The material covers the six Chief Parts of Lutheran teachings. Topics covered are the Apostles' Creed, Baptism, Holy Communion, Lord's Prayer and Ten Commandments. This 4-session class is taught by Pastor Tom Meyer and uses the Bible and Luther's Small Catechism. There is no cost for this class. The next class will be held in January 2009. Please contact Pastor Meyer (455-5320) or the Church Office for more information. Membership 101 This class will cover the targets of the congregation and how the Bible talks about ministry. The class will also cover the history and structure of St. Mark and the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. The next class will be held in March 2009.
