St. Mark’s kindergarten is a bridge between home and formal elementary education. Our staff creates a calm, accepting environment that helps each child feel comfortable with school and excited about learning.

 

We teach math, phonics, handwriting, science and beginning reading through whole and small group instruction, allowing students to progress at their own rate. In addition, we integrate cooperative learning stations to give students opportunities to improve their social skills, express their creativity, and become independent learners.

 

Most important, Jesus Christ is our center. Through daily Christian lessons, we assist children in their spiritual growth, reminding them that God’s Holy Word is the one textbook they’ll never outgrow.

 

Kindergarten classes are offered two ways – five full days per week, or five half days per week. Choose whichever makes the most sense for your schedule and your child.
