Learning Hour (9:45-10:45 a.m.) Opportunities

Toddler Crossing - 2 yr. olds & 3 yr. olds
Your child's first experience in growing spiritually along with other toddlers.  This learning environment with Bible stories, music, crafts and snack is tailored to the needs of active toddlers.  Parents are encouraged to attend with young toddlers.

 Bus Stop - 4 yr. olds, 5 yr. olds, and Kindergarten
Large group puppet presentations and Bible story events, and small group discussion, games and crafts are all part of our new curriculum for this age group.  Children will be actively involved in learning and growing in faith.  At each activity the Bible event is reviewed and applied to the child's life. 

 Junction 123 - 1st, 2nd, 3rd Grades
Children in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades will participate in small group and large group activities as they have fun learning and applying God's Word.  We will use puppets, dramas, games and crafts to share God's true stories.  The small group activities will encourage them to apply God's Word and enable them to become active disciples.

 Mile 4 - 4th Grade
A new, high tech, yet highly relational curriculum for our 4th graders. Students and teachers will have access to a special web based component with games and a conversation network.  (Don't worry mom and dad, this is a closed community just for our 4th grade students.)  The curriculum is called "Grapple," because students will use God's Word to "grapple" with the difficult issues.  

Crosswalk - 5th & 6th Grade
Preteens are a unique age group.  It is one of the largest transition times in a young person's life and we want to make the most of that transition time.  To do that we have created a new ministry just for Preteens called Crosswalk.  Bible studies and activities will be geared to their specific needs.  But they will also have exposure to the Solid Rock Youth Ministry on Sunday and Wednesdays and for some events.  We want to help them to build relationships with the group they will soon join and get a taste of what is to come for them.  

Children's Church - 11:00 a.m. Non-Communion Services 
Children's Church (4 years - 2nd grade) is offered during 11:00 a.m. service on non-communion (2nd & 4th) Sundays during the school year.  Children exit the Sanctuary just prior to the sermon.  At Children's Church your child will learn about Worship, the Church Year, Prayer and listen to God's true stories from the Bible.
